Waiheke Wellness Retreat
A curated weekend of restoration, connection, and quiet luxury on Waiheke Island
🌿 What We Offer
29–31 May 2026
King’s Birthday Weekend
Hosted by Ali Risk & Sandi Murphy
A slow, grounded weekend on Waiheke Island, held at KiwiHouse — our shared home for three days of rest, connection, and simplicity.
A space to step out of routine and into something quieter.
To land, breathe, and reconnect.
Across the weekend we’ll move between time in nature, gentle exploration of the island, and returning to a calm base where there is space to rest and integrate.
Sandi will guide yoga sessions and circle gatherings throughout the retreat, supporting embodied practice, reflection, nervous system regulation, and connection. She will also offer optional therapeutic massage for those who wish to drop deeper into rest and release.
This is a simple, spacious offering — a place to slow down and be held by the rhythm of the island, the group, and the land itself.

For those wishing to deepen their sense of relaxation, optional therapeutic massage treatments are also available during your stay.
Shared Dining Experience
Evenings on the retreat are designed as a sensory experience, with two memorable dining moments that reflect the best of Waiheke.
An Evening at The Courtyard Restaurant and Garden Bar
A hidden gem in the heart of Oneroa, The Courtyard offers a warm, eclectic setting where food and atmosphere come together effortlessly. With Mediterranean influences, the menu features house-made pastas, fresh seafood, and beautifully prepared shared plates — all enjoyed in a relaxed, welcoming space.
Dining at Mudbrick Restaurant and Vineyard
Perched above the Hauraki Gulf, Mudbrick provides a stunning setting for an evening of refined, island-inspired dining. Expect elegant dishes crafted from the best of Aotearoa’s produce, served as the sun sets over the water.
Two distinct experiences — one relaxed and intimate, the other refined and iconic — creating evenings to truly savour.
Optional Island Exploration
Invites you to experience Waiheke at your own pace — whether that’s gentle coastal walks, vineyard visits, or simply time immersed in nature. These moments are intentionally unstructured, allowing you to follow your own rhythm and choose what feels most restorative.
You may choose to explore sections of the renowned Te Ara Hura trail, a network of walking tracks stretching over 100km around the island. From cliff-top paths with sweeping ocean views to quiet native bush trails, each route offers a different perspective of Waiheke’s natural beauty, with plenty of opportunities to pause, take in the scenery, and simply breathe.
For those drawn to Waiheke’s celebrated wine culture, the island’s vineyards offer a relaxed yet refined experience. Set amongst rolling hills and coastal outlooks, many cellar doors invite you to enjoy tastings of some of New Zealand’s most awarded wines, paired with light bites or long lunches in truly beautiful surroundings.
Or perhaps your time is best spent reconnecting with the elements — a slow wander to the shoreline, followed by a refreshing swim at Palm Beach or Onetangi. Whether it’s the warmth of the sun, the salt air, or the rhythm of the sea, these simple moments offer a chance to feel uplifted, invigorated, and quietly restored.
