KiwiHouse Wellness Retreat – Terms & Conditions

1. General

1.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings for the KiwiHouse Wellness Retreat hosted at KiwiHouse (“the Retreat”).
1.2 By confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1.3 KiwiHouse acts as the host and coordinator of the Retreat. External practitioners operate as independent providers.

2. Retreat Dates & Overview

2.1 The Retreat will take place from Friday 29 May to Sunday 31 May 2026 on Waiheke Island.
2.2 The Retreat includes accommodation, selected meals, yoga sessions, and optional wellness experiences.
2.3 The schedule is indicative only and may be adjusted due to weather, availability, or group needs.

3. Bookings, Deposit & Key Dates

Deposit
3.1 A non-refundable deposit of $400 is required to secure your place and any advertised pricing (including early bird rates).

Early Bird Dates
3.2 Early bird pricing is available from 28 April 2026 to 8 May 2026, unless sold out prior.

Retreat Confirmation
3.3 The Retreat is subject to minimum participant numbers and will be confirmed on 8 May 2026.

Balance Payment
3.4 The remaining balance will only be requested once the Retreat is confirmed to proceed and must be paid by the specified due date provided at that time.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 All payments, including deposits, are strictly non-refundable, including in the case of guest cancellation, change of mind, or inability to attend.

Late Payment
4.2 If any payment is not received by the specified due date, KiwiHouse reserves the right to apply a 10% surcharge to the outstanding amount.

Failure to Pay
4.3 KiwiHouse reserves the right to cancel any booking where payment remains outstanding beyond a reasonable timeframe.

5. Cancellation, Postponement & Retreat Viability

Guest Cancellation
5.1 No refunds will be issued for cancellations by guests. Bookings may be transferred to another guest with prior written approval from KiwiHouse.

Retreat Cancellation or Postponement
5.2 KiwiHouse reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Retreat due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

• Acts of God

• Natural events or weather conditions

• Government restrictions

• War or civil unrest

• Failure to meet minimum participant numbers

5.3 If the Retreat does not proceed for any of the above reasons:

• All payments made will be issued as a credit toward a future KiwiHouse retreat or offering, up to the value paid at the time of booking.

• This credit is non-refundable.

• The credit must be used within 12 months of the original Retreat date (unless otherwise agreed in writing).

5.4 KiwiHouse is not liable for any additional costs incurred, including travel, accommodation outside the Retreat, or other associated expenses.

6. Programme & Changes

6.1 KiwiHouse reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the Retreat schedule, including instructors, activities, or venues.
6.2 Any such changes will not entitle guests to a refund.

7. Health & Participation

7.1 Guests participate in all activities at their own risk.
7.2 By attending, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in yoga, movement, and wellness activities.
7.3 Any relevant injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancy must be disclosed prior to arrival.
7.4 KiwiHouse and its practitioners reserve the right to limit or refuse participation in any activity where safety concerns arise.

8. External Practitioners

8.1 Retreat services may be delivered by independent practitioners, including yoga instruction and therapeutic treatments (e.g. Sandi Murphy).
8.2 These practitioners operate independently, and KiwiHouse is not liable for their actions, advice, or services.
8.3 Optional services such as massage are subject to availability.

9. Guest Conduct

9.1 Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward others, the property, and the surrounding environment.
9.2 KiwiHouse reserves the right to remove any guest whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.

10. Property & Damages

10.1 Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay.
10.2 Costs for repair or replacement may be charged accordingly.

11. Insurance

11.1 Guests are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation and medical cover.
11.2 KiwiHouse accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

12. Liability

12.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, KiwiHouse shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Retreat.
12.2 All activities are undertaken at the guest’s own risk.

13. Photography & Media

13.1 Photos or videos may be taken during the Retreat for promotional purposes.
13.2 Guests who do not wish to be included must advise KiwiHouse in writing prior to the Retreat.

14. Privacy

14.1 Personal information will be handled in accordance with KiwiHouse’s Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1993.

15. Acceptance

15.1 By confirming a booking and/or paying a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
