The Pōhutukawa Room

The Pohutukawa Room is a beautifully appointed, spacious double retreat with sweeping sea views and its own private balcony — the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine as the sun sets over Waiheke.

The room features a stylish ensuite bathroom, plush towels, premium toiletries, and a hairdryer for your comfort. Thoughtfully designed for rest and relaxation, it offers a peaceful haven to retreat to after a day exploring the island.

Guests also enjoy access to a shared kitchenette on the second level, where complimentary tea and coffee are available throughout your stay. A small fridge is provided to keep your Waiheke wines, cheeses, and local treats perfectly chilled for a relaxed evening in.

The Pōhutukawa, New Zealand’s beloved coastal tree, is a symbol of summer and timeless beauty. With its sculptural branches and vibrant crimson blossoms, it frames the shoreline in bursts of colour, offering shade, shelter, and a quiet sense of place that is unmistakably Aotearoa.

The Kōwhai Room

The Kowhai Room is a light-filled and tranquil retreat, offering peaceful views across the valley. Styled in fresh, calming tones, it features a comfortable queen bed and a private ensuite bathroom complete with plush towels, quality toiletries, and a hairdryer.

Guests also enjoy access to the shared balcony on the second floor — a lovely spot to take in the surrounding landscape, enjoy your morning coffee, or unwind as the day draws to a close.

The shared kitchenette on the second level offers complimentary tea and coffee throughout your stay, along with a small fridge for guest use — perfect for keeping your Waiheke wines and local delicacies chilled for a relaxed evening in.

The Kōwhai is one of New Zealand’s most treasured native trees, celebrated for its graceful branches and vibrant golden-yellow blossoms that appear in early spring. These luminous flowers are not only a beautiful signal of the changing season but also a vital food source for native birds, particularly the tūī and bellbird. Elegant and distinctly Aotearoa, the kōwhai has become a symbol of renewal, warmth, and the quiet beauty of New Zealand’s natural landscape.

The Tūī Room

The Tui Room is a beautifully light and inviting retreat, offering sweeping views towards Oneroa Village and the valley beyond. Bathed in natural light, the space feels effortlessly calm, airy and restorative — a serene escape with a warm, uplifting energy.

Generously proportioned and thoughtfully styled, the room features a comfortable seating area and shares access to a second-floor balcony — the perfect place to unwind with a morning coffee or evening glass of wine while taking in the outlook.

The room includes a well-appointed, compact ensuite with premium toiletries and a hairdryer provided for your comfort.

Guests also enjoy access to a shared kitchenette on Level 2, with complimentary tea and coffee available throughout your stay, along with a small guest fridge for added convenience.

The Tūī is one of New Zealand’s most distinctive native birds, admired for its iridescent plumage that shimmers in deep greens, blues, and bronzes, and the delicate white feather tufts at its throat. Known for its remarkable voice, the tūī fills the air with an extraordinary mix of melodic song, clicks, whistles, and playful mimicry. A familiar presence in native forests and coastal gardens, this charismatic bird is a symbol of Aotearoa’s vibrant wildlife and the lively soundtrack of the New Zealand landscape.
